Google’s new Gemini work agent is designed to work across business apps, company information, documents and coding tasks. But how much does it cost, which plan do you need, and can you use it today?
Use the calculator below to estimate the starting subscription cost for your team, compare the available editions, and check what is included before contacting Google.
How much does Google Gemini Agent cost?
Google’s current U.S. pricing information lists Gemini Enterprise Business starting at $21 per seat per month. The Standard and Plus editions are displayed together with a starting price of $30 per seat per month. These are business subscription starting prices, not a separately itemized charge for the October 2026 Gemini work-agent announcement.
| Edition | Published pricing position | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Business | From $21 per seat/month | Designed for smaller teams, with built-in agents and no-code workflow tools. Google advertises up to 300 seats on its pricing page. |
| Standard | Standard / Plus displayed from $30 per seat/month | More enterprise controls, broader connector access and higher feature limits. Confirm the final quote for your edition. |
| Plus | No separate Plus-only starting price is itemized on the shared pricing card | Includes higher limits and additional enterprise capabilities. Ask Google to confirm the edition-specific price and terms. |
| Pay-as-you-go | $0 seat fee; usage charges apply | Not free usage. You pay for the resources and features consumed, subject to account and billing requirements. |
| Frontline | Contact Google | An add-on for eligible Standard or Plus customers with at least 150 users on those editions, according to the edition documentation. |

Gemini Enterprise Cost Calculator
Estimate the starting subscription cost for your team in seconds.
This estimator uses the published U.S. starting prices of $21 and $30 per seat per month. It does not assume an annual-billing discount and cannot calculate usage-based charges. The Standard / Plus option is a starting-price illustration only; the final price and included features depend on the edition and agreement.
Gemini Enterprise plans compared
The right option depends on your team size, required integrations, security rules and how much work you expect the agent to handle. The seat price is only one part of the decision.

How much would Gemini cost for a team?

Annual figures are monthly starting prices multiplied by 12. They are not a statement of Google’s annual contract discount or a guarantee that each person will be eligible for the selected edition. Taxes, additional usage, overages and negotiated pricing are not included.
What changes the real bill?
A team estimate becomes more useful when it distinguishes the base subscription from usage beyond included limits. Enterprise editions have feature quotas, and usage beyond certain quotas can incur additional charges if overages are enabled. The applicable rates differ by feature; for example, Google publishes separate Agent Platform pricing for several agent-related activities.
Before committing, ask Google to confirm the edition, included quotas, any applicable usage charges, the subscription term, currency, tax treatment and which agent capabilities are available to your account.
How do you get access to Google Gemini Agent?
Google Cloud announced the universal work agent on October 8, 2026. Google’s business product now describes Gemini as an agent that works across business apps, email, documents, code and data. That is different from treating the announcement as a new, separately priced consumer subscription.
-
Start with the official business product page.
Review the current Gemini Enterprise offering and decide whether Business or an enterprise edition is appropriate. -
Check the trial and purchase path.
Google advertises a 30-day Business trial. Standard and Plus may have different purchase and sales-assistance requirements; use Google’s current sign-up flow to confirm your eligibility. -
Confirm the feature you actually need.
Google’s product page says some capabilities, including certain multi-step background tasks, mobile and desktop functions, and third-party model choice, are in early access. Do not assume every announced capability is available to every account. -
Validate integrations and administration.
Google lists integrations including Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Confluence, GitHub, Jira, Salesforce, ServiceNow, BigQuery, HubSpot, Notion and Asana. Confirm the connectors, permissions and policies required by your organization.
Gemini Agent vs Gemini app vs Gemini Spark
These names can be confusing because Google has several AI products for different audiences. They are not interchangeable subscriptions.
| Product or name | Intended use | Pricing and access point |
|---|---|---|
| Gemini work agent | Business knowledge work, multi-app tasks, content, data and coding in an organization context. | Check Gemini Enterprise editions, feature availability and business pricing. |
| Gemini app | Personal AI assistant for questions, writing, research and other supported tasks. | Consumer plans have their own prices and usage limits. See Google’s product and plan information. |
| Gemini Spark | A distinct personal agent experience announced by Google for proactive assistance with everyday tasks. | Availability and qualifying consumer subscription vary by market. It is not the same business pricing line as Gemini Enterprise. |
| Google Workspace with Gemini | Gemini features integrated into Workspace applications such as Gmail, Docs and Meet. | Workspace subscription and feature entitlements are separate considerations. Verify that the specific agent capabilities you want are included. |
The takeaway is simple: search results mentioning a personal Gemini subscription do not necessarily tell you what a business will pay for the new work agent. Identify the product first, then compare the corresponding plan and included features.
Extra costs and limitations to check
A seat-price comparison is a starting point, not a full implementation budget. Before using any AI agent across a business, check these items:
- Usage beyond included quotas: some additional feature use can be billed at applicable usage rates when overages are enabled.
- Storage and data indexing: the pay-as-you-go documentation currently lists a separate rate of $5 per GiB per month for this component.
- Connectors and permissions: confirm the data sources your edition supports and how existing access permissions are enforced.
- Early-access features: do not base a purchase on a feature that your account cannot yet use.
- Taxes, currency and contract terms: published U.S. dollar starting prices may not match your final local quote.
- Security and administration: review data governance, identity controls, logging, approval processes and the ability to manage spending before delegating sensitive work.
For current quota details and any applicable charges, use Google’s official quotas and overages documentation.
Which Gemini plan makes sense for your team?
Consider Business if…
You are a smaller team looking for built-in AI tools and workflow features without the full administration needs of a larger organization. Check your connector, access and seat requirements first.
Consider Standard or Plus if…
You need broader connector access, additional controls, higher quotas or support for third-party agents. Ask for an edition-specific quote instead of assuming the shared starting price applies to every configuration.
The best way to decide is to list the tasks you want to delegate, the systems involved, how often those tasks run and the controls your organization requires. Then compare the relevant edition with the real work you expect the agent to perform.
Google Gemini Agent Pricing: Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Google Gemini Agent cost?
Google does not list a separate standalone price for the newly announced work agent. Its current U.S. pricing information lists Gemini Enterprise Business from $21 per seat per month and Standard / Plus from a shared starting price of $30 per seat per month. Your final price depends on the edition and agreement.
Is Google Gemini Agent free?
It is not a universally free business service. Google advertises a 30-day trial for eligible Gemini Enterprise customers. The pay-as-you-go edition has a $0 seat fee, but usage charges still apply.
What does the $30 Gemini Enterprise price include?
Google displays Standard and Plus editions together with a starting price of $30 per seat per month. Do not assume this establishes a separate final price for Plus or that every feature is available to every customer. Check the current edition documentation and request an exact quote.
How much would Gemini Enterprise cost for 10 users?
At the published starting prices, 10 Business seats would be $210 per month, or $2,520 over 12 months. Ten seats at the $30 Standard / Plus starting reference would be $300 per month, or $3,600 over 12 months. These figures exclude taxes and additional usage, and are not contract quotes.
Is the new Gemini work agent available to everyone?
No. Access depends on the product, edition, account and feature. Google’s product page says some capabilities are in early access, so verify the availability of the specific functions you need before purchasing.
Is Gemini Agent the same as the regular Gemini app or Gemini Spark?
No. The new work agent is positioned for business workflows and organization data. The regular Gemini app and Gemini Spark are distinct experiences, with their own subscription, feature and availability rules.
Does Google Workspace include the new Gemini work agent?
Do not assume that a Workspace subscription includes every Gemini Enterprise capability. Workspace-integrated Gemini features and the business work-agent offering have distinct entitlements. Check the current product terms for the exact capabilities and edition you need.
Does the Pay-as-you-go edition really cost nothing?
No. The $0 figure refers to the seat fee, not all usage. Agent features and resources are billed according to the applicable usage rates, and account or Cloud Billing requirements apply.
